FAQ
The ACSIGNALCONVERT4 is enabled by first removing the AC converter board, set the power switch to the off position, remove all wires except for DC power then jump Main LED Blue -> Operator Open. Hold the mode button down and power the controller on while still holding the mode button down. The status LED should rapidly flash. Finally turn the power switch off. You are now ready to reattach the ACSIGNALCONVERT4.
The ACSIGNALCONVERT7 does not need to be activated. Call us (786) 339-9840 if you need help with wiring.
Test using another 12VDC or 24VDC power supply, depending which system you have. If it powers on the issue is the power supply.
Test the outlet with a multi-meter. Be sure you are receiving 110VAC to 240VAC through the outlet.
If not, you are dealing with an electrical issue.
If outlet is fine, test power supply by inserting the red/positive probe of your voltmeter inside the DC plug of the power supply. Touch the black/negative probe to the exposed metal around the barrel. You should be receiving approximately 12VDC or 24VDC.
If not, the issue is the power supply.
Controller status LED on, LED strip off? Contact technical support (786) 339-9840.

If LEDs are not solid red when in closed position AND not green when open you should check your ground/common wire is connected securely.
The following ONLY applies to barrier arms that are NOT LiftMaster MA/MT/Sprint connections to the J2 Aux Limits.
If not steady red when closed, follow where your red / close wire is connected. Make sure it's in the right place as shown in the wiring schematic. Did you check the operator settings (if necessary)? If this is a barrier arm, what gives the command to close the gate? Is the red / close wire connected to that trigger?
If not steady green when opened, follow where your green / open wire is connected. Make sure it's in the right place as shown in the wiring schematic. Did you check the operator settings (if necessary)? If this is a barrier arm, what gives the command to open the gate? Is the green / open wire connected to that trigger?
Use a multi-meter and check voltages in open/closed positions. Do they match when at full limit? Is the controller receiving that information from the operator? Is there a dead wire?
To test the LED controller you must first disconnect the operator header and grab a jumper wire. While the LED strip(s) is connected and the operator not connected you should be seeing the LEDs flash red.
If this is not true, check your mode, you should be in mode 1 for DSK or mode 3 for Gate.
If the LEDs are flashing red, you should then use your jumper wire to jump GND -> CLOSE. Do the LEDs turn solid red?
If not, call technical support (786) 339-9840.
If the LEDs turned solid red when jumping GND -> CLOSE, proceed to jump GND -> OPEN. Do the LEDs turn solid green?
If not, call technical support (786) 339-9840.
If the LEDs turn solid green when jumping GND -> OPEN, the controller is operating as it should and it is a wiring issue.
If not, call technical support (786) 339-9840.
